Revision control mattered as much as appearance: the final package needed to make the current geometry, purchased items, and BOM state unambiguous.

Built the enclosure and interfaces around documented mechanical inputs instead of implying ownership of unverified electronics.
Aligned CAD revisions, supplier components, and the final BOM so the manufacturing package described one configuration.
Resolved the geometry and interfaces at a level another engineering or manufacturing team could review and advance.
